Why is it that a 12 oz. can of soda is a single serving
(Except for the oddball ones that divy it up as 2 servings.
Other than a 5-year old, who drinks half a can of soda?!),
yet a 20 oz. bottle counts as 2.5 8 oz. servings?
Better yet, a can of non-condensed soup is 2.5 or 3 servings.
Yeah that sounds right...
(This is done to mask the exorbitant amount of salt and/or fat)
The FDA should step in to unify serving sizes across comparable
products. What good is a nutrition label if you're comparing apples
and oranges. (Yes, simple math. But most people have a hard enough
time calculating tips...)
