Vegan "Chili"
This is something I came up with when I tried to make vegan chili.
It doesn't deserve the name chili but it's a pretty good bean
soup/stew.
- 8 oz black turle beans
- 4 oz white beans
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 4 oz salsa
- 16 oz refried beans
- hot sauce
- 2 small yellow onions
- Soak beans overnight
- Start cooking beans, adding seasoning and chopped onions once heated.
- Add salsa and sauce and bring to boil, reduce to simmer
- Once beans are thoroughly cooked and consistency is to your liking
add a package of vegetarian hamburger crumble (eq. of 1 lb. cooked beef)
